Kha’Zix Academy: COMPLETE Evolution Guide (ft. Tinjus)

>>Tinjus: Hey everyone it’s Tinjus and welcome
to a new Kha’Zix Academy Video. This will be on a very crucial topic for Kha’Zix
which is evolutions and there’s a fair bit of diversity nowadays
in terms of what you can evolve on Kha’Zix. This guide will be covering everything to
do with evolutions while covering each of Kha’Zix’s evolved abilities. I’ll be going over each of their evolutions
briefly, then explaining some evolution orders and I’ll leave a bit of a summary at the end
of the video. So without further ado, let’s get into it. So let’s start with evolved Q. This is the safest, most reliable evolution
that you can possibly take on Kha’Zix, everyone should know the benefits. You get increased auto attack and Q Range, as well as a cooldown reduction on isolated Q’s which helps with dueling, jungle clearing as well as Baron and Dragon. This is usually going to be your standard
first evolution in most of your games because it provides so much in terms of efficiency
and dueling potential which is pretty important for the early game. So next we have evolved W. This is a fantastic
evolution that has many uses with it slowing by 60% in a cone or 90% when isolated. You can do so much with this evolution from
peeling to disengage, to pick potential, the possibilities are endless when it comes
to evolved W and it’s an evolution that will really help your team regardless of when you
take it. In my opinion the most optimal time to evolve
it is level 11 or 16, since that’s when most big teamfights take place and evolved W will help you immensely during
that time. But you can also evolve it at level 6 for
strong ganking potential and cc early game. Up next we have evolved E. Now everyone should know what this does and
if you don’t then what on earth are you doing go and watch some Kha’Zix montages! Your leap range increases and resets on Kill
or Assist, that’s it. You can chain these resets to use leap in creative ways. For example the double jump. This evolution is extremely important for
Kha’Zix since it opens up so many opportunities for assassination and riskier plays in general, which is what
Kha’zix is all about. Most Kha’Zix players simple cannot go without
evolved E in most of the games and that’s just because it’s so much fun and it’s what makes Kha’Zix the champion that he is. Not to mention it’s his most important tool
when going in for many assassinations. I mean what is Kha’Zix without wings really? It’s generally evolved at level 11 or 16 as the other evolutions are generally more effective in the early game. So the last evolution is evolved R. It increases the number of stealth charges
to 3 and increases your stealth duration to 2 seconds. The extra stealth that you get from the evolution
can help a lot for ganking, small skirmishes and teamfights. It allows you to stay hidden for longer and
avoid damage from point and click type enemies. Which lets you stay alive longer in fights
and create more pressure. Most of the time it’s evolved at level 6 when
snowballing but can work at all evolution stages if there is a need to become a strong
threat in skirmishes or teamfights. Alright so we’ve just covered all the evolutions
now it’s time to discuss some evolution orders. So evolution orders are pretty diverse as
of now and this enables Kha’Zix to adapt to any kind of gamestate. You can pretty much evolve anything you want
and get away with it so long as you know how to adapt to this specific playstyle that the
evolution order caters towards. So before we go any further I think it’s best that we go over the standard evolution order for Kha’Zix here first, so that people wondering what to evolve have something to use if they’re confused or new to Kha’Zix. The standard evolution order for Kha’Zix is
Q->E->W and for a good reason. Evolved Q at level 6 will be the dueling power
and efficiency you need to gain a lead in the early game evolved E at level 11 will transition that
lead nicely into skirmishes, assassination opportunities and making riskier plays and evolved W at level 16 will let you teamfight
effectively as well as give you some more pick potential with the 90% isolated slow. Overall it’s a great evolution order that’s
consistent and reliable, but if you’re looking to spice things up a
little bit then you can try some other evolution orders. and we’re about to go over them now. Here are some other powerful evolution orders
that can cater to various playstyles. R into E into Q/W This is a very strong evolution order that
utilizes the evolved R in the early game to snowball a lead and create more pressure on
the map and in fights. This transitions into E at level 11 for the
resets and flexibility in fights then follow it up with Q for stronger dueling power or
W for teamfighting and utility. Very standard high carry potential evolution
order and very successful when snowballing. Q into W into E/R This focuses on somewhat of a bruiser playstyle by having a evolved Q and W in the mid game
which allows Kha’Zix to shred isolated targets while having evolved W to provide support
for his team. This is followed up with evolved E for stronger
assassination potential or R for better skirmishing power. R ->W ->E This is a pure utility evolution order with
evolved R and W in the early to mid game. If you somehow fail to make use of evolved
R and gain a lead in the early game. You can opt for the evolved W at level 11 to provide as much utility as possible for your team and play a more supportive role in the game since you won’t have sufficient gold or experience to be able to assassinate. Q into R into W/E This evolution order guarantees that you will
be an incredibly strong duelist in the mid game. Having both R and Q evolved at level 11 means
you can fight pretty much anyone with ease due to the lower Q cooldown and increased stealth. Though this means you won’t have evolved E
available this is arguable one of the best evolution orders out there in terms of raw strength and dueling potential
and is useful against harder to duel matchups like Udyr and Xin Zhao. W into E into Q/R The purpose of this evolution order is to
make space for both evolved E and evolved W in the mid game to focus on teamfighting
and coordinated teamplay. Evolved E will give you access to resets so
you can still act as an assassin but you’ll also have evolved W to help support
your team, peel, disengage, make picks etc. Overall it’s quite a balanced evolution order
that can really help you when coordinating with your team. So those are the more notable playstyle specific
evolution orders and you should run each one depending on the current state of the game
and team compositions. Now you’re probably wondering, Tinjus how
are we supposed to know what to evolve in what situation? Well the answer is simple if you’re behind
then stick to Q, if you’re even stick to Q, if you’re fed you can evolve anything you
want. The reason for this is because you don’t need
evolved Q’s DPS if you’re ahead because you already do so much burst damage. However if you’re behind or going even in
the game you won’t have as much burst available to fight effectively thus you’ll probably miss out on a lot of
opportunities simply because you don’t have the damage capacity to fight certain fights. Thus it’s always best to evolve Q first if
you don’t have a lead to begin with. Even if you are ahead evolved Q is still amazing
and will let you fight almost anyone in the game, but when ahead you can be more flexible
with your evolution orders. So let’s summarize, I know this might have
been a bunch of information to take in, so I’ll condense it all into a small section
here. Evolved Q: Good all around evolution, helps with dueling
and efficiency. Take first if behind, going even or need more
dueling power. Evolved W: Another good all around evolution, best when
used for coordinated teamplay, helps with peeling, disengage, pick potential
and teamfighting. Take at any evolution stage for more utility
to help support your team. Evolved E: Assassination focused evolution, opens up
more opportunities for ganking, skirmishing potential and assassination. Evolve at any stage of the game, preferably
at level 11 or when you’re ahead. Evolved R: Skirmishing evolution, helps to create pressure
on the map and in fights through enhanced invisibility. Evolve preferably at level 6 to help snowball
your lead or at any stage of the game for damage avoidance and skirmishing potential. Here is a list of evolution orders that I
recommend trying, keep in mind that although these are the evolution orders that I recommend, you’re still free to come up with your own
or find ones that you enjoy running the most. Although we’ve given you many different evolution
orders in this video, it doesn’t mean that they’re the only ones
that can work and should be taken. Evolution orders are very situational and
a good Kha’Zix player will know how to choose their evolutions effectively in order to adapt to the state of the game. If you like a specific evolution order or
want to run something different by all means go for it. Alright that’s it for this video everyone.

if you read this shame on you for not listening to the beautiful voice in the video >:C

  5. I use to evolve R at the begining for one awesome reason, its funny outplaying like this, and after the match, watch the replay with the enemy vision, and see how good and fantastic you killed these guys ?)!

  6. idk , evolve Q seems out classed by everything else right now.
Evolve R feels much more consistent and versatile than simply having 2 seconds off your Q. Yeah, you can 1v1 better, but evolve R also helps you 1v1 better while giving you much more options.

Evolve Q only gives you value if the target is isolate, the attack range while nice is a luxury. Evolve R is going to give you value every time you use it.

  7. That was quite an exquisite video and it completely elevated my understanding of Kha'Zix. The knowledge you possess on this champion is unparalleled and the content provided in said video is imbued with an abundance of information and insight. I appreciate the video content.

  8. Just go Q W E with electrocute or R W E with Conqueror or phase rush and go Q E R evolve for giga smurf stomping penta kill gameplay in low elo

    Ganking teamfighter = fucking troll
Classic bruiser = pretty good pretty standard
Utility bruiser = also pretty good less comon but still pretty good
Early dominance = Never tried it myself but I have heard some people do it so maybe it´s decent idk
Utility carry = legit straight up troll xd

Grand master EUW kha zix btw ^

  9. I like playing him mid, getting control wards and and sweeper and evolving R, while putting 3 points in W early before 6 for safely farming and dealing with harass. You can all in squishies with W and E without needing Q at level 2 assuming you landed harass. If lane snowballed, I ward bot side and try to get picks near that side with my jungler, or fake roams and apply pressure. The R stealth allows you to pull off some crazy ganks and covering stupid amounts of distance without needing to use E in case they use flash or something else.

His base armor is also high because he's a jungler, which means auto-attack harass is very manageable against ranged mids. Between corrupting pot and your higher cheese potential, you can also draw out laning phase before first back.

  11. great guide bro, but in my case, i have a good microgame and im in silver II, so for having fun in normal games, I start evolving Q and E, or E and Q, i think it's the funniest way fot play it, and in ranked i usually evolve R because it is usefull in all cases. <3

  12. yall boys ADVANCED. from a simple subreddit dedicated to kha players to a whole channel teaching you kha zix. yall recruiting for a war or what?

  13. Guys I need help from higher Kha Players, I am playing at D3 Elo and usally start with the R into W into E. I played 100 games with Q E W/R but the last 20 games I started with R and I feel very comfortable with it. I enjoyed both but is the differnce that big? I am a very risky player if it goes to assassinate ppl.
    Any tips?

  14. Id like to argue that R is the strongest first evolve because it gives more damage from passive, gives more survivability, makes gankinf stronger, etc. It gives a bit of everything at level 6

  15. 99% of the time i just evolve Q W E my playstyle is sitting on a flank and spamming W bcs of the easy to hit slow it makes it harder for them to engange but if they still try then i got my invis to back me up and if im already lvl 16 a long range jump to get out of there

  16. Evolve r is good like r have the mobility that e gives no double jumps tho and before leaving your stealth ur non evolve q is almost back up

  17. I always evolve W First and instantly rush Dusk blade. And my gank pattern is always the same. Check for vision with oracle lens and If I'm out of vision I go ahead and assassinate them by going into my ult. Running behind them to block their only way of running away then I AA Q AA W AA and if they flash I follow with my Second R or simply jump. Second I evolve R simply because avoid all wards in the area when I gank from the river. And the last one is E because then I can kill someone with E Q and instantly jump away.

I know this is pretty poor but I'm only EUW Gold III – IV hardstuck

  18. R > W > Q if you're not fed and if you have someone like Syndra that can make use of your W slow, R if u have conq bruiser build to fight tanks and to survive, Q for more frequent Q spam

  19. wtf,the clips are actually good, not like some other trash normie kha players. you can tell a khazix is good when they auto first then q instead of q first then auto , big fucking differnce

  20. I was rlly sad when they removed his invis when he entered a brush it was what made his lvl6 ganks soo good but it was pretty op tbh so I see why it was removed

  21. Actually i almost always start with E first. I mean… who can expect the unexpected?. It always serves me some kills + the tears of the enemy.
